Series Overview
Medical/surgical specialists from UW-Madison present up-to-date information that enhances medical knowledge that can be applied to their daily medical/surgical practices. A member of Divine Savior's medical staff concludes each session by sharing information/experiences they've encountered with a specific case, or with an interesting medical/ surgical condition or disease process. This forum meets one time per month for 1 hour.

- Describe advances in medical knowledge and techniques used in the care and treatment of patients presenting with a variety of illnesses/injuries.
- Utilize new practice standard guidelines and quality data to improve delivery of care within the Divine Savior system.
- Apply appropriate practice standards, skills and strategies identified in the research to the care and treatment of patients presenting with illness/injuries that are not always experienced on a regular basis.
