Nickolas H. Lambrou, PhD (pronouns: he/him/his) is an Advanced Postdoctoral Fellow with the Madison VA Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center (GRECC). He holds a doctoral degree in counseling psychology, and has experience providing clinical psychotherapy for Veterans with PTSD. Under the mentorship of Dr. Carey E. Gleason, his research addresses relationships between identity development, resilience, minority stress, social determinants of health, and cognition across the lifespan within underserved populations. Dr. Lambrou has expertise in qualitative methods and Community Based Participatory Research with transgender and non-binary populations, as well as Native American and Indigenous populations.
