Learning Objectives

As a result of this educational series, learners will be able to:

1. Identify the role of Out-Of-Hospital Care providers play as part of the interprofessional team responding to the opiate epidemic.

2. Review alternative field treatments for pain-related complaints, and changing provider attitudes.

3. Discuss changing provider attitudes towards Opiate Use Disorder

4. Gain awareness of community resources, surveillance and tracking of field overdoses to help combat opiate epidemic.
