Objectives:

As a result of this educational regularly scheduled series, learners will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate understanding of the pathophysiology, clinical presentation, physical examination, imaging and treatment associated with common orthopedic fractures
  2. Integrate knowledge of preventative orthopedic care, including detection of osteoporosis, in management of acute orthopedic fractures
  3. Recognize UW resources available across the healthcare continuum for fracture management including subspecialist and consolation services
