Learning Objectives:

 

1. Explain the strengths and limitations of the diagnostic criteria for cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) and apply them appropriately in clinical practice.

2. Discuss familiarity with the implications of a diagnosis of CAA as regards both expected natural history of the disease and appropriate medical management

3. Review the clinical and imaging findings concerning for a diagnosis of cerebral amyloid angiopathy related inflammation (CAA-ri) and the relevant diagnostic criteria, treatment, and outcomes of this condition

 

4. Present the UW approach to this patient population and consider avenues for improvement.
